Filipino Canadian Association of Kitchener-Waterloo (FCAKW)

The Filipino Canadian Association of Kitchener-Waterloo (“FCAKW”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) appreciates the support of our community. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for donations, events, and other payments made through our website.

Donations

All donations made to FCAKW are voluntary and non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law. Donations support our community programs, cultural events, and organizational activities.

Event Registrations and Program Fees

Refunds for event registrations or program fees are handled as follows:

  • Refunds may be considered if a request is made before the event or program date, subject to administrative or processing fees.

  • No refunds will be issued once an event or program has started, unless otherwise stated.

  • FCAKW reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events. If an event is cancelled by FCAKW, registrants may be offered a refund or credit, at our discretion.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in the membership terms or required by law.

Processing Fees

Third-party processing fees (such as payment platform or credit card fees) may not be refundable.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with your name, payment details, and reason for the request:
